At 93 years of age and living on my own, I normally eat meals while sitting on the lounge chair watching TV. In so doing I run the risk of dropping food on my shirt or sweater.
Food stains on my shirt are embarrassing if I go out with friends. I don't want to wear an adult bib that ties up around the neck and so I use a dripit clothing protector to catch the drips.
This is a nice alternative to using an adult bib. It also provides insulation if I have a hot plate on my lap.
