Ruth has a background as a former attorney in Australia with 18 years of corporate experience in the USA focusing on strategic planning, PR, business development, and project management.
Clients served include international, national and local organizations across diverse industry sectors.

Since 2004, she has been sharing her personal story with corporate, student, faith-based, and women-focused organizations. Ruth believes that humor and strength can be drawn from even the darkest experiences.

Ruth has a passion for supporting women and children and is a longtime advocate for women who've negotiated the trauma of breast cancer and families who have experienced abuse - in Australia and the USA.

A survivor of domestic violence, homelessness, and breast cancer, Ruth is a gifted motivational speaker who has relied on her lived experiences and personal faith to educate thousands of students, corporate executives and others on the topic of abuse.

As Bright Pink's volunteer Ambassador for Tennessee, she has also educated young women on being proactive with their health to prevent breast and ovarian cancers.

She presently participates in Wollongong Council's 'Living Books Library' program, educating high school students on healthy relationships.

A portion of proceeds is donated to support exercise and wellness programs for women recovering from breast cancer.
